Lumen Health AI
A trust-first website and signup flow for an AI medical-scribe product sold to busy, cautious clinicians.
Lumen Health builds an AI scribe that writes clinical notes from patient conversations, giving doctors hours back each week. The product was excellent, but the audience — clinicians — are rightly skeptical of anything touching patient data. The old site asked for a demo before it had earned any trust.
The challenge
Selling AI into healthcare means leading with credibility, privacy and proof, not hype. Visitors needed to immediately understand what changes in their day, how data stays safe, and that real practices already rely on it — before they’d ever book a call.
What I designed and built
I designed a calm, credible site that front-loads trust and translates the product into the language of a clinician’s workday. The whole thing is a measured, reassuring experience that still drives a clear next step.
A hero focused on the outcome: ‘leave the clinic with your notes done’
A visible, plain-language privacy and compliance section
Specialty-specific landing pages with role-relevant proof
Testimonials and metrics from real-feeling practices as CMS items
A two-track CTA: ‘watch a 2-min demo’ or ‘book a walkthrough’
Product improvements
I helped streamline the trial-to-first-note experience: clearer consent steps, a guided first recording, and friendlier states for the anxious moments — so a new clinician feels safe and successful within their first appointment.
The outcome
The site now does the hard work of building trust before sales ever gets involved. Demo requests became higher-intent, objections around privacy dropped, and Lumen has a landing-page system to expand into new specialties.
